Smith Data Processing Services (SDPS) is a little company I started a few years ago when I began doing some contract work on the side. I registered the domain name when I was running my old style BBS system and used it primarily as a way to transfer email for the BBS.
The current SDPS system is housed on an Gateway E-4500D with 2 gigabytes of main memory and a 250 Gb hard disk. We're running the Fedora 10 operating system, the Apache webserver, the MySQL database, and the PHP scripting language.
After spending several months trying to come up with an attractive and workable website design, I finally found the style you see here. I ran across this style on a web template site somewhere on the Internet and found it very easy to use. This style was created by John Zaitseff. You can find this style at its home page: Sinorcaish.
I've been a software developer for the last 25 years with most of my expertise in the CICS / COBOL area. I also have extensive experience working in the UNIX environment and the past 5 years have been devoted to Windows development using C#, .NET and SQL Server.
