CAREER OBJECTIVE

To secure a position with a firm that can best utilize my skills as a Senior Programmer Analyst and that will offer opportunities for both personal and professional growth. Being a detail oriented developer with an eye on the "big picture", I can supply results that exceed expectations and at the same time provide for effortless future expansion.

PERSONAL STATEMENT

After twenty-five years in the "school of hard knocks", I am confident that my skills and knowledge are equal to and may even exceed those of recent college graduates. When I started in Information Technology, the world revolved around IBM mainframes using CICS and COBOL. And that's where I learned my trade. But knowing that those technologies would not last forever, I invested some of my energies into the future by learning the GNU/Linux environment. That has paid me many dividends. But I also saw that another technology was looming on the horizon - Microsoft .Net. I again directed some of my energies toward learning C#, .Net and SQL Server and have become quite proficient in the last four years. Realizing that my technology skill set was still not complete, I have recently enrolled in a Java Mastery course to further expand my repertoire.
